AI email credits
What AI email credits are, how many your plan includes, and when they reset.
Updated October 20, 2026
Every plan includes a monthly allowance of AI email credits. One credit is one email Trevy writes and sends to a contact.
What uses a credit
- Follow-up emails, switched on in Emails → Follow-up emails: new listings, market updates, and check-ins and notes.
- Timely emails, which Trevy writes when a contact does something worth a note.
Monthly market reports don't use credits, and neither does the one email asking a contact who stopped answering whether to keep getting Trevy's (see Contacts who stop answering).
If Trevy takes a credit for an email and then can't send it, for example because the contact unsubscribed in the meantime, the credit comes back.
Credits belong to the team. Every Trevy email, whichever agent it goes out from, uses your team's one allowance.
How many your plan includes
- Up to 2,500 contacts: 1,000 a month
- Up to 7,500 contacts: 2,500 a month
- Up to 15,000 contacts: 5,000 a month
- Up to 30,000 contacts: 10,000 a month
- Up to 50,000 contacts: 17,000 a month
- Each 10,000 contacts more: 3,400 more a month
That's a fair-use allowance of about one email for every three contacts. When your plan moves up or down, your allowance moves with it. See Plans and pricing.
During a free trial without a card, you get the allowance of the plan that fits the contacts you picked.
Check your usage
Go to Settings → Billing. The AI Email Credits card shows how many you've used of your total this month, with a bar that fills as you use them. Your total is your plan's allowance.
When credits reset
Your used count goes back to zero once a month:
- On monthly billing, with each bill.
- On yearly billing, every month, even though you're billed once a year.
When you run out
Trevy stops sending follow-up emails and timely emails until your credits reset. Monthly market reports keep going, since they don't use credits. Your allowance grows with your plan, as your contacts grow.
