Your free trial

Trevy's free trial lasts 14 days. You don't need a card to start it.

When it starts

The trial starts when you connect Follow Up Boss, not when you create your Trevy account, because that's when Trevy can start working. Connecting again later doesn't restart it. See Connect Follow Up Boss.

One trial per Follow Up Boss account

Each Follow Up Boss (FUB) account gets one free trial. If another Trevy login already had the trial on the same FUB account, setup shows "This Follow Up Boss account has already had its free trial." To send, add a card in Settings → Billing. Your plan starts, and is charged, right away.

During the trial

• Settings → Billing shows "Free trial until" and the end date.
• Your AI email allowance is the one for the plan that fits the contacts you picked. See AI email credits.
• You can add a card any time: in Settings → Billing, click "Add a card" under your price, then "Save card". Nothing is charged until the trial ends. Billing then shows "Free trial, first charge on" and the date.

Three days before it ends

The team lead gets an email, "Your Trevy trial ends" with the date. It says what Trevy has done so far (emails sent, leads who replied, turned hot or asked for a tour) and the price for the contacts Trevy works.

• Without a card, the email asks you to add one. The first charge comes when the trial ends, not before.
• With a card, Trevy counts your contacts again, straight from FUB, and sets your first charge to the plan that count needs, up or down: one charge at that price. The email names that price, and your card is charged when the trial ends.

When it ends

With a card, your first charge goes through at the price from three days before, and your plan carries on. See Plans and pricing.

Without a card, Trevy stops emailing your leads. Nothing is deleted. The team lead gets an email, "Trevy has paused: your free trial ended", and the Emails page shows "Nothing goes out yet. Your free trial has ended. Add a card in Billing to send." Add a card in Settings → Billing and Trevy picks up where it left off. That first charge is taken straight away.

Cancelling during the trial

If you added a card and cancel before the trial ends, the trial ends without a charge. See Payment, invoices and cancelling.

Agents removed from a team

Agents on your team work under your trial or plan. If you remove an agent, their own Trevy login is no longer covered by your plan, and it can't send emails until it has a plan of its own.
