What Trevy does
What Trevy does for your team in Follow Up Boss: who it emails, how it tells agents who to call, what it reports to the team lead, and where each part lives in the app.
Updated October 21, 2026
Trevy works your team's Follow Up Boss database for you. It writes and sends emails to the contacts you choose, watches how they respond, tells your agents who to call, and reports to the team lead. Trevy decides what each contact gets and when, from what they do. Your team decides who Trevy works, how it sounds and which kinds of email go out.
It emails your contacts through Follow Up Boss
Trevy sends only through Follow Up Boss (FUB). Each email goes out from the contact's assigned agent, through your FUB account, with the agent's own signature and your account's unsubscribe footer. You don't connect Gmail or Outlook. See Sending through Follow Up Boss.
What Trevy sends:
- Follow-up emails. New leads get a welcome series, cold leads get re-engagement, and active leads get market updates, check-ins and, when they're buying, listing alerts. You switch these on with Follow-up emails on the Emails page, and choose there which kinds go out.
- Monthly market reports. Once a month, on the same date for each contact, a link to a report on their market, on their agent's page. You switch these on with Monthly market report on the Emails page.
- Timely emails. When you turn them on (Emails → Timely emails), and a contact does something worth a note, Trevy writes one email about it. For example, when someone keeps coming back to the same home, Trevy tells them what it would cost a month at the latest rate.
Trevy only works the contacts in the FUB stages and tags you pick on the Contacts page, and it leaves out anyone on your Leave out list, anyone who has unsubscribed, and agents, lenders and vendors. See Choosing who Trevy emails. Nothing goes out to your leads until you start Trevy, at the end of setup or on the Emails page.
For each kind of email in detail, see How Trevy's emails work.
It tells your agents who to call
- Hot-lead alerts. On once you start Trevy (switch them to Practice or Off in Settings → Alerts and reports). When a contact turns hot and nobody on the team has reached them, Trevy tells their agent in FUB, at most five a day per agent, between 8am and 9pm. See Hot-lead alerts.
- Replies. When a contact Trevy has been emailing replies, Trevy's emails to them stop and the agent sees the reply in FUB. With hot-lead alerts on, if nobody answers within two working hours, the agent gets a FUB task to answer it. See When a contact replies.
- Tour requests. With Tour times on (on the Emails page), when a lead asks to tour homes, Trevy puts the appointment in FUB and gives the agent a task and an email. Trevy never confirms a tour for the agent. See Tour requests.
- Home. The same people, for whoever wants to look: who's waiting on a call and why. Nobody has to log in to know who to call; the task in FUB reaches the agent. See "Home" below.
It reports to the team lead
- Team Report. What Trevy did, how your team followed up, and one tap to tell Trevy what to change. It comes weekly, on Monday unless the team lead picks another day, as a short daily note on mornings with news, or both. You set it in Settings → Alerts and reports. See The team report.
Home
Home is the first page you see once setup is done. It opens with "Here's what Trevy did, and who to call."
- Four numbers for the last 30 days: Emails sent, Opened (with the share of emails opened), Clicked and Report visits.
- Call these people: the contacts hot-lead alerts flagged in the last week whom nobody on your team has reached yet, newest first. They're the same people, with the same reasons, as the tasks in your agents' FUB. A contact leaves the list once someone calls, texts or emails them, or the task is marked done or deleted. With alerts off, the list says so and, for the team lead, links to Settings. In practice, it says these are who Trevy would have flagged.
- Most engaged lately: up to 10 other contacts, ranked by what they've done in the last 30 days, with the most recent counting most, and up to three reasons each, such as "opened their market report 3 times", "clicked a link in" an email, or the ZIPs they're looking at on their report. When a contact has been looking at other ZIPs on their report, a line under the reasons says so and that their next report follows them there.
Every contact on both lists shows their name from FUB, Open in Follow Up Boss, and Call with their phone number when FUB has one. Calls and texts made from FUB are logged there, which is how Trevy knows someone was reached. An agent on your team sees the numbers and the lists for their own contacts.
Where things are
Open the menu at the top left to move between pages.
- Home: what Trevy did and who to call. Everyone sees it.
- Your page: your own page, where your contacts' market reports and other links open: your name, photo, brokerage, colors and links, and how the page is doing. Every agent has one. For the team lead, and agents who are an Owner or Admin in FUB, it also has How Trevy sounds, the voice of the team's follow-up emails. See Monthly market reports.
- Contacts: who Trevy works, what it leaves out, your default market, and the live count your price follows. See Choosing who Trevy emails.
- Emails: sending through Follow Up Boss, follow-up emails and a switch for each kind, the monthly market report, tour times, timely emails and quiet hours. See How Trevy's emails work.
- Flows: the flows Trevy runs, each with its own switch.
- Settings, in the menu under your name: General (your profile and the Follow Up Boss connection), Alerts and reports (hot-lead alerts, missed hot leads and the team report), and for the team lead, Billing and Team.
Contacts, Emails, Flows and Settings → Alerts and reports are for the team lead, and for agents on the team who are an Owner or Admin in Follow Up Boss. See What agents see.
What it costs
Trevy charges one price for the whole team, set by how many contacts it works. There are no per-agent fees. The free trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. See Plans and pricing and Your free trial.
