Trevy says this Follow Up Boss account already had its free trial
Why the free trial is one per Follow Up Boss account, and how to start sending without one.
Updated October 20, 2026
Trevy's free trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. It starts when you connect Follow Up Boss. Each FUB account gets one free trial, however many Trevy logins connect to it.
Where you'll see it
- On the Your price step of setup: "This Follow Up Boss account has already had its free trial." There's a Continue to payment button instead of Go to your dashboard.
- On the Emails page: "Nothing goes out yet. This Follow Up Boss account has already had its free trial. Add a card in Billing to send." The follow-up emails, monthly report, tour times and timely emails switches can't be turned on.
- In Settings → Billing, Current Plan reads "No plan yet".
Why it happens
When you connect Follow Up Boss, Trevy checks whether another Trevy login has already started a free trial on the same FUB account. If one has, for example a teammate, or you under a different email address, no new trial starts.
Reconnecting Follow Up Boss doesn't start a trial, and neither does connecting the same FUB account from a new Trevy login.
What you can do
Join the team that already uses Trevy. If someone on your team already has Trevy connected to this Follow Up Boss account, ask them to add you as an agent from Settings → Team. The team's plan covers its agents, with no per-agent fees. See adding agents.
Start your own subscription. In Settings → Billing, click Start your subscription and add a card, or click Continue to payment on the last step of setup. With no trial to wait for, the first charge is taken when you subscribe, and you'll see "Your subscription has started." Then switch on sending and follow-up emails on the Emails page.
Your price depends on how many contacts Trevy works for you. See plans and pricing.
If you think this is wrong
